Penelope Candice Drake[1] is the youngest of four children and the only girl of the four. She's something of a tomboy. She was born and raised in Kapuskasing[2] but attended university in Toronto.
There aren't a lot of non-whites in Kapuskasing, let alone biomodded folks, so she went through some culture shock when she first came Up to Fenspace in 2012 to look for work. She's gotten over that, but it took a couple of years.
Penelope is a computer security specialist by trade. She prefers to work contract-to-contract; she's turned down permanent job offers from the Crystal Millennium, the Convention Authority, and Stellvia Corporation. The fact that she can do that in her chosen line of work shows that she's very good at what she does.
In addition to her professional skills, Penelope is fluent in English and French, and can play hockey, basketball, and curling just as well as the boys.
