Open Character

Born and raised in Humboldt County, California, Tanith Curtis was introduced to anime in college when she attended a club meeting with her roommate. She fell in love with the magical girl shows - Tonde Buurin, Wedding Peach, Akazukin Chacha, Sailor Moon but especially Kaitou Saint Tail. She managed to find the time for both her new hobby and her studies, earning a degree in social work in 1996. She then put her hobby behind her and started a career in community service.

Or, at least, she thought she did. But when handwavium came along a decade later, Tanith was still on the front lines with promotion to an administrative position a fantasy, wondering how Meimi or Usagi would solve the problems she had to puzzle out. Then her old college roommate called Tanith up out of the blue and told her about a great adventure a group of their old classmates were planning along with people from other college anime clubs: they were going to move to the Moon and set up the Silver Millennium Kingdom for real. Tanith didn't think twice; she asked whether she could join them.

Things weren't easy for the Silver Millennium Kingdom in the early days, but Tanith didn't complain. She was on the Moon, helping to build a new society where everyone's talents were valued, and that was enough for the first few months. People were even starting to look up to her; she was one of the few people in the colony who had experience getting people to work with each other instead of at cross-purposes. When the colony decided to open up their borders, welcome anyone of a like mind, and change their name to the Crystal Millennium, they reorganized their government and elected Tanith as their first official leader, Serenity I.

Tanith found her calling; she thrived under the pressure of keeping the Senshi going as a faction, while not needing to worry about the well-being of any single person under her care. The ability to step back and look at the big picture was something denied her on Earth, and she considered it the best aspect of running the Senshi.

When the 2018 elections took place, Tanith announced she would not be running for re-election, preferring to return to the Moon Kingdom Memorial Outpost and resume social work.

Tanith has never biomodded, and has no plans to do so.
