Appearance and Personality
Lee is a heavily-built, though glamorous, woman in her early 30s, who lied about her age being 25; she did have the looks, and forged paperwork, to get away with this, and now the Glamour so no one would doubt it. She is Caucasian Irish, with the pale skin and dark hair, and with green eyes. Her hair is kept no longer than shoulder-length, to keep it out of the machinery.
She is determined but caring, and tends to put others before herself; she's pretty even-tempered. Lee can be very effective when focused, but otherwise might be thought friendly and bumbling. After her encounter with the Hollywood Machine she gained a 'Mother' aura, which can mix in interesting ways with her glamour. She doesn't really trust handwavium, and is far more enthusiastic about hard tech.
Notable Mundane Attributes
- Trained mechanic engineer, though initially with only limited practical experience.
- Competent plumber (in self-defence, given her name), and fair vehicle mechanic.
- Can tell if younger women are lying to her, unless they are exceptionally skillful.
- Skilled at appearing to be a younger woman, via exercise, make-up and attitude.
'Wavium Abilities
- Lee is not bio-modded, but she has the Glamour from The Machine, and also a 'Mother' aura.
- Handwavium seems to quite like her, but rarely does anything flashy for her.
Quirks
- Lee is not a glamour addict.
- Tendancy to mother the Angels.
- Tendancy to mother anyone she can get her hands on, including AIs.
Faction
'Dane.

Trivia
Lee is a closet fan of the original "Charlie's Angels" series, which she watched on video tape as a kid. [1]
Stories
Lee thought she had a career, which she then gave up for love, only to find herself childless and divorced in her early 30s. Using a one-off favour (from an associate of her ex-husband) she reinvented herself with a new name and as eight years younger. [2]
Her assumed name is Alison 'Lee' Kay, her birth name was 'Alison King'; she wont give her married name. She is a divorced engineer (and not a spy or investigator). Her job is O'Neill Station 'White Team' (Maintenance), doing the awkward heavy lifting. Later, after a reorganisation, Lee found herself as Kelly's deputy, in the newly-formed Engineering Department.
Kelly befriended her first, and introduced her to Jane, then Sarah. They affectionately call her 'Boz' (when they're sure they're alone) and she tries to mother the Angels, and anyone else she can get her hands on.
Lee actually died in the Hollywood Machine. She was the first one they put through the process after Kelly had gone through, on an experimental basis. The Machine took the usual half-an-hour with Kelly, but she came out apparently unchanged, though she complained about strange dreams, and flashbacks. The Machine decided there needed to be a Bosley. Unfortunately it isn't designed to do casting.
Kelly worked for half a day to save Lee, and waved up some extraordinary Steam Punk medical tech in the process. After two days in bed, Lee was ready to return to duty, and the only change was she'd acquired a 'Mother' aura. [3]
Kelly wrote a report on the incident, which pointed out they hadn't got as much as an operators manual for The Machine, and one day, it might go rogue. She strongly recommended that the original designer and builder, an 'Arthur', be asked to provide any available documentation, and if it didn't exist, create it. [4]
Lee is referenced in passing in the 'Arthur' stories, but is quite important to key characters.
Notes
- ↑ She knows there is something strange about the Angels, but refuses to upset them, or allows anyone else to do so.
- ↑ Just young enough to get the glamourous engineering job advertised by Lagrange Recruitment.
- ↑ And now had some investigator skills, and an interest in, and skill with, firearms (copied from Kelly).
- ↑ This report was apparently completely ignored.
