The Space Age (abbreviated SA) is an alternate calendar used by many Fen.
Year 0 of the Space Age calendar is 1957 of the Gregorian calendar. This year was chosen because Sputnik I was launched by the Soviet Union on October 4, 0 SA (or October 4, AD 1957). Thus, using the Space Age calendar, the Kandor Treaty was signed on March 28, 53 SA.
