Fenwiki stub.png There's something missing here…

This page is missing critical information of some kind. It might need a location, or names of people involved, or something else. It might be outdated. It might be a Wikipedia or SolStation data dump with little or no relation – or, worse yet, with contradictions – to the situation in Fenspace. It might have inconsistencies. It might even be missing multiple details.

You can help FenWiki by expanding this page.

HD40307 is located about 41.8 light-years away from our Sun, Sol, in the constellation Pictor. The star is a main-sequence orange-red dwarf star of spectral and luminosity type K2.5V. It may have around 77 percent of Sol's mass, and 23 percent of its luminosity.

Surveillance by telescopes suggest that HD30407 has multiple planets, HD40307g seems to be a superearth with 7 times the mass of Earth in the liquid water zone. HD40307 has a rotation period around the star of 197.8 days, which suggests its not tidal locked to the star.
